Responsibilities:

  • Plan logistics routes of products from suppliers to various company destinations
  • Liaise with the marketing coordinator in fulfilling online customer requests, their delivery times and transport costs
  • Manage logistics staff (drivers, riders) and fleet.
  • Control the flow of incoming materials, warehouse stock level and outgoing finished products to ensure customers receive products on time.
  • Develop business by gaining new contracts, analysing logistical problems and producing new solutions.
  • Understand and help to develop company’s e-commerce sector.
  • Continually improve and develop business performance within the constraints of fuel costs and rising environmental and regulatory pressures.
  • Plan and work on new supply strategies.

The Person:

  • Possess a good university/Polytechnic degree obtained at a minimum of Second Class (Lower division)/ HND (Lower Credit) respectively.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine detail.
  • Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience in a logistics firm or Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) outlet will be an advantage.
